Cine Standard terms

Last updated: 13 September 2026. These Terms govern use of Cine Standard, including editorial rankings, audience voting, trailers, discovery features and commercial partnerships.

Editorial nature

Editorial ratings, rankings and reviews are subjective opinions about artistic works. They are not factual allegations about the legality, integrity, professional conduct, commercial practices or character of any person or company.

Audience ratings

Audience scores are aggregated preferences of eligible visitors. One vote per title and pseudonymous network identifier is permitted. Attempts to manipulate ratings, automate voting, bypass limits or interfere with the service are prohibited.

Advertising and commercial partnerships

Cine Standard may display advertising, sponsorships or other commercial communications. Paid placements will be identified as commercial content where required. Advertising partners do not determine The Cine Standard 30, audience scores or ranking positions. Aggregated audience statistics may be used in media kits, sponsorship proposals, campaign reporting and commercial planning.

Age and optional analytics

Cine Standard is not an age-restricted service and does not require visitors to be 18. The service is not directed to children under 16. Where optional analytics rely on consent, visitors below the applicable digital-consent age should use essential-only mode unless a parent or guardian has validly authorized the consent.

Third-party information

Posters and metadata may come from TheTVDB, while trailers may come from YouTube. Third-party details can change and should be verified with the relevant source. Cine Standard is not endorsed by TheTVDB, YouTube or streaming platforms.

Intellectual property

Cine Standard branding, original editorial text, list structure and software are protected by applicable rights. Third-party titles, posters, trademarks and media remain the property of their respective owners and are used for identification, commentary and discovery subject to applicable licences and law.

Availability and liability

The service is provided on an “as available” basis. To the extent permitted by law, Cine Standard does not guarantee uninterrupted availability, complete metadata or continued streaming access. Nothing excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
